Parenthood - Opening Night

This show is one of those nice consistent shows that is easy to sit down and watch.  Not a lot happens in this episode.  As per it's title, Crosby and Joel finally get their school play happening but their 'star' Jabbar has stage fright and the young parents fight over whether to let him have his way or to push him back into the limelight.  Zzzz.
Oh, but then Hattie get's sprung trying to go out with Alex and her paretns hit the roof and ground her.  They even go to the point of banning all communications (no phone or computer) and even remove her door!  Hattie has had enough and like any rude teenager who doesn't get her way, she decides to leave home and move in with her grandparents.  But Alex won't talk to her till she sorts things out with her parents and he resents her for including him in her lie when he is doing everything in his life to be honest.  So she has moved out of home for a guy who she can't speak to.
This story is the best part of this show at the moment.
