Glee

Yep, it's yet ANOTHER television show, but this one is SO much fun!  It's the second season of Glee!  The only television program on air that includes singing!  The movie star link is Jane Lynch playing the bitch from hell, Sue Sylvester as the coach of the cheerleaders at McKinnley High, The Cheerios.  She is the nemesis of Will Shuester, the Director of the Glee Club and she is always trying to shut them down, or take their funding.
The show is about a Glee club in McKinnley High and the members and how they deal with being different from everyone else.  There are the football jocks who like to sing and dance, the cheerleaders who also like to be part of the club, the diva who is a mini Barbara Striesand, the overweight coloured girl who is one of the finest singers ever, the guy in the wheelchair, the Asians and even the token gay guy.  They have got them all in this group.  And they have all grown together and found that they love each other and will do anything for each other.
Now they didn't win the Regionals at the end of last year, but that doesn't keep them down.  I would have done a review of the first episode of the season, but my PS3 deleted over 100GB of shows and movies and of course this was one of them.  Not to worry though, because I just won Season 2 Volume 1 on DVD thanks to EzyDVD!  For the time being, I have all the other episodes ready to watch.
The first episode I watched was the Christmas episode where Sue was a complete bitch, playing the Grinch and stealing all the gifts for the homeless children.  I loved the way they sang a lot of Christmas carols that I had never heard before.  It was so refreshing.  The Coach shows how much of a beautiful person she is by playing Santa.  Does Britney get her wish to see Artie walk at Christmas?
It's great to be watching the show again.  The best thing about watching Glee is that I get to watch it with my eldest daughter.  She loves it, so it is something we can share, which makes this show even more special.
