The Bee Gees come from my home town of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and they even played my Mum's 'formal' when she was in high school!
Everyone knows the songs they have done for the movie Saturday Night Fever (Staylin' Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever, More Than a Woman, Jive Talkin' and You Should Be Dancing).  They also show up in various different films including:

• Stayin' Alive: Airplane (Flying High for us Aussies!), Staying Alive, The Bounty Hunter, Madagascar, Mars Attacks!, Swingers, Chicken Little and Meet Dave.
• You Should Be Dancing: Despicable Me
• More Than a Woman: Short Circuit. (Where I fell in love with Ally Sheedy).

But their Very Best Of has so many other songs that are just brilliant, From New York Mining Disaster 1941, to I've Got To Get a Message To You and Saved By The Bell, to their later works like You Win Again.  Another great Best Of Album!
