I was not a fan of Daniel Craig as Bond, before I saw Casino Royale. I was a big Pierce "Remington Steele" Brosnan fan, as well as Sean Connery, but I have to say, I don't mind Craig as Bond. Being a huge Bond fan, I always looked forward to the next Bond theme song but I never got to hear Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) sing "You Know My Name" until I saw the film, and I simply loved it! I really loved the title sequence that the song played over with the simple white background and silhouette's and card suit shapes. I love the words, which for me, were more about that even though the face and actor has changed, he is still Bond. But it also reflected the gritter touch to the film and Bond's first assignments.
I like Cornell's vocals too. It was good to hear a male voice again. A great song and one of my favourites from the Bond collection. Much better than the theme for Quantum of Solace!!
