A controversial episode where a young man is pulled over and found to have a cache of guns with all the serial numbers filed off. Does the boy deserve to go to prison for the majority of his life for doing his Grandfather a favour? You see his Grandfather hates the government and how a person's rights are slowly being eroded away and he feels it is everyone's rights to own a gun. He sells them but with the serial numbers filed off so the government can't control you. However, that is illegal as serial numbers are there to protect the public. An interesting story that tries to make the argument for owning guns.
The B story has the Assistant District Attorney Cole, ask Nick to help his sister who is trying to stop a bear from being euthanised after it attacked a drunk who entered it's enclosure. Of course Nick finds every opportunity to drive out to see the sister as he slowly falls for her. This was sweet.
