Supernatural - Clap Your Hands If You Believe...

The episode commences with the familiar typing of the location...hang on!  That's not Supernatural!  That's The X-Files!  What's going on?  Then a young man is abducted by a light in the sky from a crop circle!  Where is Supernatural heading?  Are they going to takle aliens next?  Then the title sequence starts and it is Supernatural but with an X-Files spin!  Brilliant!  Two of my favourite shows entwined!  In fact, the original crew were mostly from when The X-Files was being filmed in Vancouver and especially in the first season, there are a number of Mulder and Scully references, but this is a brilliant homage to the show.
Even the title is excellent!  Not only does it evoke The X-Files "I Want To Believe" but it also brings forth thoughts about fairies.  You see, what we originally think of as aliens, are in fact fairies and they are particularly nasty ones at that. 
This is a pretty funny episode too!  Just wait till you see what Sam gets up to while Dean is abducted!  Also check out how Sam eventually beats the cheif fairy, played by Robert Picardo from Stark Trek and StarGate.
This was one of the most clever episodes of Supernatural for some time and I loved it, especially for bringing The X-Files back to television, in their own way!  Thanks guys!
