Parenthood - Taking The Leap

Another solid episode of Parenthood, but I really think the writers are doing the character of Jasmine a disservice.  She acts irrationally.  There is no reason for the way she walks onto Crosby's boat, smiles, tells him it was nice doing stuff together but then she sticks the knife in and says she can never trust him and it is over.  God, move on mate.  She is too much trouble. Hey, Gaby is back on the scene?!  Maybe you should go back to her?  I would!
Adam and Kristina are called to the Principal's office, thinking Max has done something wrong but they advised he is going extremely well.  In fact well enough to move on to another school.  Now they are considering putting him in to a normal school.  That's not going to end well.
The most poignant story was about Julia and Joel.  They have been trying to have another baby.  Things have not been happening so they thought it might have been Joel.  This lead to an extremely funny scene when he has to fill a jar with his 'specimen'!  Unfortunately, it is not to do with him, but with Julia.  It appears, she has scarring and probably won't be able to conceive.  This was extremely sad.
The episode featured the wonderful Richard Dreyfuss as an old theatre producer who is given Sarah's play to read, which he likes, with some changes.  Meanwhile, Amber finds out she can't get into college.  She doesn't respond very well.
A great show.
