The first episode starts with Crowley giving the Winchester boys a deal. They bring him an alpha monster and he will give Sam back his soul. So off the boys trot to locate a suspected werewolf attack in a small town that ends up being something different, a 'Skin-Walker'. That is a person who can change his shape into a dog, in this case, a German shepherd. What they discover is that there is a reason for the killings he has done and he is actually trying to protect the family he loves when he is in the guise as 'Lucky' their pet. But does his good deeds get rewarded? This is very similar to Dean's story with his girlfriend and son. Will he every be able to go back?
