The Mentalist - Every Rose Has Its Thorn

This week's episode showed how sometimes, Patrick Jane can be like a dog with a bone and just not let go.  When a wealthy owner of a online dating service is found murdered, he is adamant from the beginning that the killer is his wife, played by the lovely Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Stargate & V fame). This is despite evidence to the contrary, her having a very good alibi and other people being more suited to be the murderers. 
Is he right, or is he just ill-equipped to deal with a strong, sexy, intelligent woman?
There is some great acting in this episode, especially between Simon Baker and Ms Baccarin.
Rigsby, in the meantime, is undercover to catch one of the murder suspects, a woman having sex with men while secretly video taping them and then blackmailing them.  Lisbon and Van Pelt burst into the room to discover him in a very compromising position!
Another poignant conclusion with Lisbon watching Jane's online dating intro clip where he describes his perfect woman.  You think he is describing her, when the last line and the fade to black makes you sadly stop and think.  A brilliantly written scene.
