Parenthood - Tales From the Luncheonette

Adam and Crosby finally have the opportunity to have a real star record in their studio, when Cee Lo Green enters the picture.  Crosby doesn't believe they are ready, but Adam needs this to work so he wants to work through the night to get the studio set up and working.  When Cee Lo arrives, he chooses the studio that Janis Joplin recorded in and tries to channel her in his music, to capture her magic.  But things are going right.  Adam and Crosby think it is great but Cee Lo is not convinced.  Take after take occurs, Crosby throws Adam out of the booth and keeps trying to make Cee Lo happy, but at the end of the day, he walks.  The boys are devastated.  What did they do wrong?
Meanwhile, poor Kristina has been at home with the new baby while Adam has been staying at the office and she is just exhausted.  Haddie, being usual selfish self, wants her Mum to read her essay but when Haddie discovers her asleep, having not read the paper, she gets cranky and won't talk to her Mum.  Personally I would have told her to grow up and help out around the house, but of course, Kristina is trying to keep everyone happy.
A bit like her sister-in-law Sarah who is trying to look after Seth, who was beaten last week.  She has him stay over and while nothing happens, he leaves his cigarette packet in the bed and of course Sarah's boyfriend, Mark, finds them in the bed and when she explains what happens, it shocks him a bit.  She keeps choosing Seth to protect and look after and if she keeps that up, Mark will walk.  Sarah ends up borrowing money from Julia and Joel to put Seth in rehab.  While at a dinner at their place, Joel inadvertently mentions it in front of Zeek, who goes off.  He also goes off about the adoption and how they shouldn't do it.  Joel finally grows a pair and in his best scene ever, he tells Zeek to back off.  Brilliantly done.
Sarah's son, Drew, is also finally getting some screen time with a love interest, Amy.  He is very nervous around her though and ends up going to his sister, Amber, who helps him out and he ends up getting his first kiss.  Nice work!
Lastly, the Cee Lo debacle wasn't a complete disaster, as he comes back the next day and explains it wasn't Adam and Crosby that was at fault, it was him.  Because he was trying to be Janis Joplin, his own music wasn't coming through.  He ditches the Joplin feel and sings his heart out.  Finally the boys are on their way!
Not a bad episode, but do people really react that way in some of these situations?
